In June of 2007 Nora and I went on a mission trip to Guatemala. We spent five days working at an orphanage in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. We built bunkbeds, painted, and loved on the children. One particular little girl named Johanna found her way into hour hearts. This website is dedicated to Johanna and documents the process of adopting her. I have tears in my eyes as I see these picture! Praise God that you all are REALLY home. What a blessing to be back in the states with your entire family. Your story has blessed to many!

I cried when I read the news and cried harder when I saw the “You tube” video. It gives me such joy to see you all together in the states. Please pray for us as we are still stuck here in Guatemala. I’ve been here 5 months now. We are not out of Family Court yet. I don’t mean to rain on your parade, I’m sorry. I’m just so sad but it gives me great hope to see you home!!! Love and blessings!

We met back in May 2008 in G.C. when I was with my brother John and his wife Carmelle, picking up their little boy Bryce. Carmelle has kept me up to date on the adoption and I was so moved to learn this week that your little girl is finally home!
